Agates are in the quartz family and often form in layers or bands. Agates come in many different colors and formations with many different inclusions. What differentiates agate from jasper is it’s translucency and slower vibrational frequency. Considered a slow and steady healer, agates are long-term, everyday allies. Keep them out and around for the stabilizing and strengthening influence of a lifelong friend.
